About me
Growing up on the Dorset Coast, England, Zoë is the artist & maker behind The Quiet Wild. She has always been drawn to the magic of creativity through drawing, painting and drama ~ as a child she loved to entertain and was always dancing, putting on performances or writing poetry.
Her desire to make silver gemstone jewellery was mainly inspired by her 70's childhood, and from her various experiences while travelling the world.
Zoë finally attended a two day silversmithing taster course deep in the Dorset countryside back in 2019, and instantly fell in love with the magic of this ancient craft - who doesn't want to use fire as part of their job! Her skills from then have been self taught from passion & perseverance.
Wild Cove Studio was born at the start of 2020. Named after her favourite beaches in Dorset & also North Devon, where she also lived for many years and still visits often ~ to catch up with friends, family & to collect Seaglass for her jewellery.
In 2025 she has decided to change the direction of the business to follow a calling she has had since a very young age. Her lifelong love of the moon, magic, nature and the sea can be found woven within her pieces and ethos. Her inspiration comes from wild seascapes or magical local woodlands full of oak trees and wildlife. These experiences are then added into her work to help create a way for you to connect, come back to self and find even a moments peace in a crazy, hectic world.
A piece of jewellery ~ or art and fragrance ~ really can positively change the way you feel, and serve as a small reminder to honour your lovely self. This is why a lot of Zoë’s pieces have positive meanings or messages inscribed or woven within them.
My jewellery is made to become beloved keepsakes ~ created for yourself or a loved one ~ and treasured for many years to come, and I am beyond grateful to anyone who buys a piece of my work, it means the world!

Love + Light
